16 20 oil on canvasthis was such a fun day!! - we met at janet's studio last night for some wine and some chat and to meet the rest of the gals. - what a nice group of people! we set out this morning at 9 and painted all day - the morning was spent at epworth by the sea - a picturesque spot with lots of painting fodder. after lunch we went over to this little spot on the water where we painted a ramshackle shanty. i tried to be fast and loose ( following janet's urging...)and so i ended up with 4 pieces for the day - the last one with 10 or 15 minutes left before our critique..so i did a little sketch of my friend carolyn at her easel. (tomorrow i may paint my friend nan...)
