6 x 6 oil on panelhere are a few zinnias from my garden - i don't know if i'll have the really long ones this year - usually i grow them from the seeds from last year's batch but i think it may have been too cold when i threw them around for them to germinate - i'll try again now that it's warmer - the flowers i painted yesterday are called stella doros (or doras) - i found that out from my golf buddies today - this painting was done alongside tillie and ollie as they worked on their own projects...always so much fun... as a post note...this painting has been presented to my surrogate grand neice for her 8th birthday...
