6 x 8 oil on canvas panelwe got together in nan's back yard yesterday - i was dashing literally all day - working in the house during the morning - a couple hours of painting early afternoon and then 9 holes with my hubby and some friends and then dinner - no time to post when i got home and probably this will be it til sunday. as i mentioned before - it's difficult to paint with the sun casting shadows which are constantly changing. it's so important to get the shadows you want down early and then just ignore what's happening with the sun. as i look at this, i can see where i was fooled and i'll tweak it a bit more when i have time.
