"Swan Lake"

I delivered four more paintings to harrison lake the other day..we decided we needed one more to fill the long buffet wall perfectly..so i've been hard at work!..the gang said there were two swans who frequented the lake so i thought i'd give this a go..i'm really liking it!..i may tweak it just a little bit but now it needs to have some drying time..

"Old Pals"

So here's another large painting..I think I tweaked this a little but don't have a photo...this is close..I am writing this from my iPad...in sunny port st.lucie, Florida...getting ready to head out to golf..curt, the "dog whisperer" who's looking after our girls, says it s mighty cold in Columbus!..hope our pipes don't freeze while we fritter away our time hitting that little ball..finding it....and hitting it again...mike and ginny have some good things planned..we're going to the first day of the Honda classic Thursday...should be fun as we'll be stationed near the bear trap!..can't wait!!..

so last week I got word from the Venue, my gallery in Bloomington, that a couple was wanting to spend some time with this painting...they took it home over the weekend and today I got word that they were buying this piece!!..how humbling and what a thrill!

on my easel...a new beginning...

so this is what i'm working on..my good friend Katie has a bunch of grands..I think this may be her oldest when she was a little girl..i'm honing in on it..I've had this black and white photo..taken by timmy, her hubby and my oldest living friend...I have done so much painting lately..i almost said...not today!..but then I heard the siren's call...
