this is another painting heading to Georgia with us..i did a larger format one of these for the show in carmel..today i'm spending my time getting all these things framed..so of course things are messier than usual!...I SO need a cleaning lady!!!

still working toward my show in may at the hoosier salon..this is just a small piece i'm thinking of adding...it's an image i've painted a few times before..and i do love it..been working hard..painting..watching the masters..painting..watching the masters...I can't believe how much we look forward to this week..the music..the build-up..end of basketball and start of the golf season...and then..all of a sudden..it's OVER!!!!...what????..life is just going by too damn fast!!!!!

so this is jake....now in doggie heaven...  my good friend phyllie asked me to paint this for her daughter-in-law chrissy..although I never got to meet jake, he looked like he was a fine fellow!!..and I had a good time painting him!..i had to keep this a secret til just now..didn't want to spoil the surprise...

so here's this piece I've been working on...I may be done...but as I look at this, I think I need to tweak a thing or two...never done til it's over-done, right??...i have a show...did i mention I have a show coming up in may at the hoosier salon???...they need 10-15 new pieces and i'm ON IT!!!!...since my hubby has been sick for the last two days, I have plenty of time to spend in my studio..he really likes me out of his hair when he doesn't feel well...which is just fine with me...trying not to catch it from him...lots of work to do in the next two weeks..just watched michigan state get trounced by duke...now on to wisconsin and the evil Kentucky...go wisky!!!!!!!!!

this is a little 11x9 ditty..i'm starting a series of ballet pieces and this is sort of a warm up...i'm very excited about how this is coming along..lots of paint so far..and lots more to follow...planning several larger pieces in the next two weeks...
