6 x 6 oil on gessoed boardso here's one of my mother-in-law's elephants. she had such an extensive collection and we now have several...this one purple glass. but this was another problematic attempt - i tried sanding the board but it's still too slippery. i feel like i'm working on hot pressed watercolor paper and it's eating up so much paint because it won't cover - but i'm a work in progress and so is this diary - so i'll start again tomorrow - this time using an untouched new board. off to take oliver, my 3 year old grandson to tennis.
