6x6 oil on canvas paneli call this "patrick's sunrise" because it's from a photograph by patrick anderson. he does wonderful coastal shots and i've worked from his images before. i'll have to say - i'm not sure it's possible to capture the exact moment in a painting like he did in this shot - so elusive...so i don't try to replicate what he's done..just use it as reference.
